Cremation Burial Options
at Roselawn Memorial Park
Chapel Mausoleum
The Chapel Mausoleum is at the heart of Roselawn Memorial Park.
You can’t help but be impressed as you approach the solid white, Vermont marble building along the boulevard where we offer glass front cremation niches and crypts for your consideration.
Chapel of Prayer
At our Chapel of Prayer Mausoleum, we offer a range of burial options, including crypts and cremation niches, both indoors and outdoors.
As you step inside the Chapel of Prayer, you'll be greeted by a serene fountain and an impressive bronze Wallscape, depicting a Michigan lake scene with sailboats and a lighthouse. This mausoleum also has an indoor heated Chapel that may be used for memorial services.
Veterans Mausoleum Complex
At Roselawn, we proudly offer two special options for veterans' cremation burials; the Eagle Niches and the Veteran's Columbarium at the World Wars Memorial. Both areas pay tribute to American veterans and their spouses, which is Illuminated by night lighting and graced by two flagpoles, where the Stars and Stripes fly 24/7 symbolizing our unwavering respect for those who served.
Butterfly Garden
As you enter the Butterfly Cremation Garden through a granite trellis you are greeted by a bronze statue of a young girl with a butterfly, gently taking flight from her hands. There are dedicated planted areas that attract a variety of butterflies throughout the garden and pathways, which are laid out in the shape of butterfly wings.
Roselawn’s butterfly garden offers nearly every available option of cremation memorialization:
Sanctuary of Love and Peace
The Sanctuary of Love and Peace offers cremation niches to commemorate your loved ones, in a protected, granite building adorned with stained glass windows.
The Chapel of the Cross
The Chapel of the Cross is a unique mausoleum in the shape of a cross located on the east side of our park with breath taking sunrise views in the morning. Here, we offer both inside and outside crypts with bronze memorial plates which all feature a cross – tying this sacred theme together.
Be A Tree
Our new “Be A Tree” cremation burial option at Roselawn Memorial Park allows you to turn your loved one's cremated remains into a living memorial at the cemetery.
Our biodegradable urn is planted along with a young tree in one of 12 designated sites throughout our memorial park. Tree types are selected to compliment the surrounding landscaping in the area you select.
The “Be A Tree” option includes the tree, one person's urn, burial/planting service, and a special plaque commemorating your loved one.
Footprints
Our Footprints feature allows for personal memorialization for those who choose to have their ashes scattered. Provisions have been made to actually scatter the ashes in a dedicated area. The granite monument features the Footprints poem, cast in solid bronze. Individual bronze name plates complete the tribute to a loved one remembered here.
